A couple in the US were arrested after two kids allegedly witnessed them performing sexual acts mid-flight on a JetBlue flight from New York to Sarasota. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the news, and the couple is being charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition, specifically in the presence of minors.
US Couple Arrested For Indulging In Sexual Acts On JetBlue Flight
According to Latestly, a couple from Connecticut were arrested for having sex mid-flight while travelling on a JetBlue flight. The couple, identified as 43-year-old Trista L. Reilly and 42-year-old Christopher Drew Arnold, were witnessed having sex by two children on the flight.
They were travelling from New York to Sarasota. The flight attendants on the flight were made aware of the situation. According to one of their accounts, Reilly was “making up and down movements with her head while she was face down on Arnold’s lap.
The incident happened at around 10:30 AM on July 19 on a JetBlue flight. Upon landing at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Reilly and Arnold were arrested at 11:30 AM, according to the officials.
Kids On Flight Witness Couple’s Explicit Activities
As per the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, two underage passengers witnessed the couple engaging in sexual acts mid-flight. Their mother flagged the flight attendant immediately. The couple was arrested and booked with charges of lewd or lascivious exhibition, specifically in the presence of minors. So far, JetBlue and airport authorities have not issued any statement on this matter.
Airlines usually have strict standards of conduct onboard, and they can involve law enforcement when passengers engage in illegal or disruptive activities, like this one. Indecent behaviour, especially in front of minors, is a punishable offence, and more details about the couple’s punishment in the matter are awaited.
