The yacht Dolce Vento was recently built at the Med Yilmaz Shipyard. The 85-foot-long yacht created a buzz on the internet on its maiden journey. Shockingly, the yacht sank in the sea just 15 minutes after starting its journey from the Turkish coast. A video recently went viral showing the ship’s owner swimming back to shore after the boat submerged, Hindustan Times reported
Due to this horrific incident, the excitement of seeing the nearly $9,40,000 yacht sail quickly turned into panic. As soon as the people on board realised that the yacht was not stable, they jumped off and swam towards the shore. Those onboard included a few passengers, crew, the shipowner, and the captain. The shipyard officials have confirmed that there were no serious injuries. The reason why the new yacht sank is still unknown. According to Hindustan Times, Dolce Vento was built in five months, and the fact that it did not survive its first journey has shocked everyone and raised questions about its quality. It was indeed shocking to see a $9,40,000-project sinking in just a matter of minutes.
