Viral Video Shows Indian Tourist Being Beaten In Phuket Restaurant, Pleads, “I Want To Go Home”

On social media, videos from across the world appear on our feeds. Watching them, we often judge situations without knowing the full reality. Now, another video has gone viral showing an Indian tourist in Phuket being beaten inside a restaurant. Here’s what reportedly happened.

Cruella de Vil (@MalluChique) shared a video where we can see an Indian tourist being beaten by restaurant staff in Phuket, Thailand. Several other customers were also seen watching the scene unfold in front of them. The man who was beaten by the staff is reportedly identified as Jitesh.

According to claims going viral online, the tourist was causing a disturbance at the restaurant. It is also said that he kept going in and out of the premises repeatedly. He also attracted and harassed female staff.

Police Step In To Handle Situation

The situation at the Phuket restaurant got tense, and police were called to handle it. In the video, after the police arrive, the focus shifts back to the Indian tourist, who is seen speaking and pleading.

In the video, the tourist can be heard saying, “They beat me up” and “I want to go home.” He is also seen folding his hands and breaking down in tears. Later, a police officer is seen speaking to the restaurant staff. The police then take the Indian tourist away.

Officials have not yet shared any clear details about what exactly happened in the incident. It is also not confirmed whether the claims being spread online about the tourist’s behaviour are true or not.
