Watch: Flight Attendant Makes Cafe-Like Strawberry Matcha Latte At 35,000 Feet

A flight attendant from Aegean Airlines is now going viral on social media for literally whipping up a cafe-like strawberry matcha latte at 35,000 feet on a flight. Netizens are not just impressed with her skills, but many have even called her a “barista on a flight”. Here’s how she made this drink mid-air!

Flight Attendant Made Strawberry Matcha Latte On Flight

Flight attendants have a lot of ideas to pass the time during long flights, and this was proven by how an Aegean Airlines air hostess, Alexandra, made a strawberry matcha latte in the flight’s galley. First, she whipped up the matcha powder using a bamboo whisk and kept it aside. After that, she mashed a handful of strawberries using a disposable fork in a paper cup.

Next, Alexandra took out two glasses to give the beverage a cafe-like feel and added the mashed strawberries with lots of ice cubes. She frothed some milk and poured it over the ice. Lastly, she poured the hero of the recipe, the matcha concoction, on top of the milk, and it was done! Her strawberry matcha was ready, and yes, it totally looked as if it had been made in a cafe.

Netizens Call Her A ‘Barista On A Flight’

Netizens were quite impressed with the simple recipe and the whole process of making this delicious beverage on a flight. One user said, “She made it so well,” while another wrote, “Barista on a flight.” A third Instagram user made a funny comment and wrote, “Now I get to know why my drinks are so late.” 

Alexandra often uploads videos on her Instagram account showing herself cooking and trying out recipes mid-air. Just a few days ago, she made a complete dinner with her friend that featured avocado on a slice of bread with cherry tomatoes.
