Chef Vikas Khanna took to Instagram to share a glimpse of Chhath celebrations at Bungalow in New York. In the video, a devotional song dedicated to Chhathi Maiya, the chef wrote, “Chhath Puja at Bungalow: A Prayer to the Rising and Setting Sun.”
In the video, the restaurant can be seen adorned with hundreds of marigold flowers, symbolising the glow of the Sun. Along with the vibrant blooms, diyas, and incense made from temple flowers added to the festive charm of the celebration.
In the caption, he added, “We will honour Surya Dev, the life-giver, with folded hands and hearts full of thanks — just as our ancestors have done on the banks of the Ganga for centuries. Myshu added 8 drops of Ganga Jal in our stone carving that represents centuries of years of our history.”

He also lit diyas to mark the festival with warmth and joy.
