Tallest Murugan Statue To Be Built In The United States

Hindus in North Carolina have started the development of a Murugan statue in Moncure. A 155-foot-tall statue of Lord Murugan is being planned inside the upcoming Carolina Murugan Temple. According to The Now India, the statue will stand on a 35-foot pedestal, bringing its total height to 190 feet. This project is not just about building something grand. For the Hindu community in America, this will be a place of devotion, cultural strength, and spiritual identity.

Budget Of This Upcoming Project

The project will be constructed in phases. The first phase alone is estimated to cost around $3 million. Once completed, this temple will attract devotees not only from across the United States, but also from other countries. We believe that this statue and temple will soon become one of the most important Murugan pilgrimage spots outside India.

This upcoming statue will not only be a symbol of devotion but will also reflect the identity and pride of the Hindu community in the US. Once completed, this structure will stand in North Carolina as a reminder that spiritual heritage can travel beyond borders and find a home anywhere in the world.
