Turkish Airlines Launches Sustainability Brand, Tomorrow On-Board; Here’s What It Means

Just like others in the travel industry, Turkish Airlines also celebrated World Environment Day and how! The airline, which flies to many countries has now launched its sustainability brand. Called tomorrow On-board, this launch was on June 5, World Environment Day. Here’s all you need to know about the launch, which saw a special event at the carrier’s hub.

A special event took place at Istanbul Airport, which is also the Turkish Airline’s hub. Commemorating the launch of Tomorrow On-board, this event showcased sustainable in-flight products and services. Not to mention, there was also an exhibition of items that have been made from repurposed aircraft parts. The flag carrier of Turkey, this brand represents the scope of its future goals. In fact, this sustainability brand aims to present a comprehensive vision to passengers and investors.

Why Has This Brand Been Created?

Tomorrow On-board has been created with several important objectives in mind and these are as follows:

With the help of this platform, Turkish Airlines emphasises its dedication towards offering transparent information and data. This ensures that their efforts are accessible to everybody. In fact, during the launch and exhibition titled ‘41.2607° North and 28.7424° East’ had taken place. This showcased an exclusive selection of artwork, which included paintings, sculptures, and installations by four different artists. It’s going to be open for visitors for two weeks at Istanbul Airport and also features artworks that have been created by interdisciplinary artists. These include items, such as parts from decommissioned aircraft, flight crew uniforms & bags, cabin carpets, or even seat fabrics.

So, if you are flying to the airport in the coming two weeks, you might want to catch a glimpse of this exhibition as well.
