On this amazing episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani visited Tusshar Kapoor’s home. She relished delicious homemade Punjabi khaana. We spoke about a lot of things, from his life as a single dad to how he managed to nab his first acting job. Surprisingly, Tusshar Kapoor is an introvert, and in an industry full of loud extroverts, finding opportunities became a challenge for him and understandably so. Here’s what he had to say about being an introverted actor.
Tusshar Kapoor Talk About Being An Introvert As An Actor
An introverted actor almost sounds oxymoronic. Well, constantly Tusshar Kapoor is breaking such stereotypes. He revealed that he’s not a very outgoing person and yet he managed to have a successful acting career. He revealed that during the ‘80s, being an introverted actor was not possible.
One had to be outgoing and loud. He said, “You can’t be a shy child and want to be an actor, that was the mentality.” However, despite such stereotypes, he managed to do it. He even made a film that was quite unconventional at the time.
That’s when Tusshar Kapoor said he realised that it was not about how you are as a person but how you are as an actor that matters more. He then also spoke about how being an introvert, acting has helped him discover parts of himself that he never knew existed.

Why The Actor Loves Living All By Himself In His House
He also mentioned that acting allowed his introverted side to grow and in turn, his introversion helped bring about a depth to the characters he played. He’s quite grateful for it.
While chatting about his gorgeous Juhu home, Tusshar Kapoor revealed that he loved living alone. He said that it was enriching to him.
