In 2021, Sethi even had leg surgery and shared his experience with his fans through a video of him recovering from the operation. He said that he was told by his doctors to rest for six weeks, but he stated his intention to come back strong, which is the proverbial ‘chin up’ attitude.

He also acted in a 2001 Bollywood film called Deewaanapan along with Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza. In the year 2019, he appeared in a Telugu movie named iSmart Shankar.
