Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport recently signed agreements for the development of two new hotels at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. These agreements were signed with local and international companies who wouldn’t only be in charge of developing but also building, managing, and of course operating the two new hotels. The world-class hotel will be built to the highest engineering standards, and we are here to tell you all about them.
2 New Hotels At King Abdullah Sports City
As mentioned in a report by the Arab News, the Ministry of Sport recently signed agreements with international and local companies for two new hotels. And these hotels are expected to offer 585 rooms! With the hotel built on a 16,000 m² site, this will help in supporting the kingdom’s ongoing efforts that aim to attract major sporting events. As it happens, there are several other amenities that you will want to know of, which are mentioned below.

The hotel will also feature retail stores, a fan zone, swimming pool, fitness and sports club, international restaurants, dedicated areas for athletes, and conference & event spaces. A part of the ongoing effort to achieve the strategy goal, the hotels are also going to support environmental improvement through their infrastructure development. Additionally, these developments, of course, align with the Saudi Vision 2030.

As it happens, these hotels are being designed to offer integrated services that meet the requirements of international sporting delegations, along with other visitors. For those who aren’t aware, the King Abdullah Sports City opened back in 2014. Located in Jeddah, it is home to the main stadium, other outdoor stadiums, facilities, and even a sports hall.
