- Scientists and researchers: You’ll need international recognition and UAE Scientists Council approval, but if you’ve got the data to back it up, you’re in benefit.
- Investors and entrepreneurs: Innovators with eco-conscious ventures in sustainability, clean energy, or climate tech.
- Environmental specialists: Experts working in UAE’s government or private green sectors.
Whether you’re an advocate, academic, or investor, if you’ve made the environment your mission, you may just qualify for this long-term residency route.

The ICP has made the whole process remarkably straightforward. You’ll need to hop onto their website or mobile app (UAEICP) and follow these steps:
- Fill in your details and upload the required documents
- Pay the applicable fees
- Hit submit.
- Wait for your confirmation email.
