For those who aren’t aware, Hurricane Hilary has been causing destruction in the aforementioned regions with the storm being accompanied by strong winds and heavy rainfall. As a result, there have been cases of flooding in multiple areas! It should be noted that while the hurricane has now been given a status of tropical storm earlier it had reached Category 4, which is the second highest category. Moreover, millions of people are facing flash flood threats due to the heavy rainfall that has been received in many areas.

Yes, it seems that some regions are expected to receive rainfall up to 10 inches which is a year’s worth of rainfall. While this is the latest of the climate disaster, to cause destruction in Canada, the US, and Mexico, Muai is still reeling from the fire last week that ravaged the Hawaiian island.

We really do hope that the people in the affected areas remain safe and strong in times of such adversity.
