UAE issues different types of visas for people with varied needs. And now, it recently allowed people from Pakistan to avail of a 5-year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa. This comes after the resolution of existing issues, as revealed by the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi on Tuesday, April 8.

Now, Pakistan passport holders can avail of a 5-year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa. As revealed by the Dubai General Directorate of Identity and Foreign Affairs website, the multiple-entry tourist visas are issued for five years by the UAE. The holders of these visas can make several trips to the UAE from the date when the visa is issued. Not to mention, they don’t need a guarantor or a host within the country as well.

In case you’re wondering, UAE offers different types of visas. From Tourist and Student Visas to Employment and Residence Visas, these vary depending on the requirement of the individuals who are seeking them. So, the announcement means that Pakistanis can also avail this type of multiple entry visa.

This Comes At A Time When There Is Increased Scrutiny Of Them

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that this development comes after visa issues have been resolved. Not to mention, it comes at a time when UAE authorities have increased the scrutiny on Pakistanis arriving in the UAE. Due to their alleged involvement in crime and unlawful activities like begging, this scrutiny has increased. Earlier, it was even clarified on January 9 that there is no restriction on Pakistani’s to work in the UAE as long as they are travelling on work visas.
