UAE Public Holiday List Revealed!
On New Year’s Day of 2023, there will be the first UAE public holiday of the year. It falls on a Sunday.
After this, there will be an additional 13 public holidays waiting for you. Eid al-Fitr predicted to happen on April 20, 21, 22, and 23, will be the first of them. It is the first day after the month-long period of fasting and prayer, known as Ramadan and the start of the Islamic month of Shawwal. The days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which suggests a potential four-day weekend. Arafat Day, the second day of the seven-day Hajj pilgrimage, which is scheduled for June 27, comes next. The Feast of Sacrifice, Eid al-Adha, immediately follows Arafat Day. It is anticipated to be observed on June 28, 29, and 30. Moreover, it is one of the most significant UAE public holidays in the Muslim calendar. It doesn’t harm to make plans ahead of time since Dubai will only make official announcements on the dates of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha based on pertinent moon sightings.
You will observe a UAE public holiday on July 21st to commemorate the Islamic New Year, which falls on the Islamic lunar calendar’s first day, Muharram. Then, on September 29th, there is a public holiday in honour of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
