Uttar Pradesh To Get Its Second Vande Bharat Express Soon
The Indian Railways is working to launch the mini Vande Bharat Express very soon in this state. Just like any other semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express, this mini train is also going to be an exceptional addition to enjoy a faster and more convenient journey. Here are all the important deets about the newest development of Indian Railways.
- This is the first mini-version and second Vande Bharat Express in UP.
- This mini version of the express train is going to be an eight-coach train.
- According to several reports, it is going to be connecting Lucknow to Gorakhpur via Ayodhya.
- Covering a journey of 302 KM, the mini semi-high-speed train is set to take the passengers from Lucknow to Gorakhpur via Ayodhya in less than 4 hours, according to a report by News 18. At the present time, the train ride takes somewhere about 5 hours to cover the same journey.
- According to a report by Times Now News, this mini Vande Bharat Express is going to run on the rail tracks following a maximum speed of 110 km/hr.

There have been no official announcement or confirmation about the train route and the ticket costs as of now. It is expected that the officials will make the announcement with the necessary information soon. The News 18 report also stated that there are expectations about Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagging off this train. But the PMO has not made any official agreement yet.
Deets About The Trial Run:
The test run of this eight-coach train took place on 4 July 2023. A loco pilot of the train shared with Times Now News that it was a good trial run without any problems in between. The journey from Gorakhpur to Lucknow took 4 hours and 10 minutes.
