With the dip in Covid-19 cases across the globe, several countries have eased travel restrictions to revive tourism and business activities. Recently, the US and Australia Singapore have issued new COVID-19 guidelines for travellers. Here are the latest travel rules that you should know if you are travelling to the these countries.
The US
The US recently eased travel rules and has allowed the movement of foreign travellers. The Joe Biden administration has lifted COVID-19 restrictions for most foreign travellers and also imposed new COVID-19 vaccine requirements. You should be vaccinated with any of the vaccines approved by the WHO that include Moderna’s m-RNA-1273; Pfizer/BioNTech’s BNT162b2; Johnson & Johnson’ Ad26.COV2.S; Oxford/AstraZeneca’s AZD1222; Serum Institute of India’s Covishield; Sinopharm’s BBIBP-CorV (Vero Cells), and Sinovac’s CoronaVac.
You should also do an RT-PCR test not more than 3 days before your departure.

Australia
Australia has decided to open its borders after a long hiatus from November allowing citizens and permanent residents to leave the country. The country has not alllowed foreign travellers to travel to Australia yet. As quarantine requirements for Australian citizens and permanent residents travelling from Abu Dhabi end on November 1, 2021 Australia has allowed increasing airline seating capacity from Abu Dhabi.
Vaccinated Australians and residents will not have to quarantine when arriving in Australia. Bookings to Australia are open via all channels for travel from November 1. Meanwhile, Australian airline Qantas announced that it will also start operating flights from Australia.
