A tragic road accident was reported in the Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh on August 18. According to multiple reports circulating on the Internet, a pickup van collided with a bus in Bulandshahr. Passengers travelling on the vehicles sustained scary injuries. A Pickup Van Collided With A Bus In Bulandshahr

All India Radio News shared crucial updates about the horrific road accident in the Salempur police station area. According to a report by The Hindu, the collision between the vehicles was reported on the Budaun-Meerut State highway. The van and the bus were travelling towards their destination and were arriving from opposite ways. This was when both vehicles slammed tragically and the accident was reported.

Taking to the X platform, Goldy Srivastav (@GoldySrivastav) shared clips of the deadly accident spot in Bulandshahr.

At least 10 people died in this road accident. More than 27 people suffered injuries. District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh stated that the affected and injured people have been rushed to a hospital for immediate treatment. Four critical patients have been referred to Meerut Medical College. He also added that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of this accident. Yogi Adityanath asked the District Magistrate and officials to make sure that every injured person receives all necessary treatment.

X user Sanjay Insights (@SanjayInsights) shared a video of the pickup van in a dilapidated condition following the tragic accident.

According to information provided by Sanjay Insights (@SanjayInsights) on the X platform, some passengers were travelling in the pickup van. They were employees of a factory in Ghaziabad. Everyone was returning to their houses and families in Aligarh to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
