The oldest city in the world, Varanasi, will play host to the International Temples Convention and Expo (ITCX) this year. The event will be held from July 22 to July 24, 2023. It is the world’s first event entirely devoted to the management of temples worldwide by Temple Connect (India). It is known as the world’s biggest temple convention and expo, and this year is its inaugural season.
International Temples Convention And Expo In Varanasi
The International Temples Convention And Expo will be coming to Varanasi this July. This event will concentrate on fostering and empowering the management, operations, and administration of temple ecosystems.
To build, enable, and promote best practices for temple management teams globally, this three-day event creates a forum for the free-flowing exchange of ideas, knowledge, and essential insight among like-minded dignitaries who are in charge of temple administration.
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, under the “Incredible India” strategy supports this convention, since it adds value to the temple tourism and pilgrimage ecosystem.
The inaugural season of the event is by invitation only and is for Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, and temple trusts. Participants in this meeting will include representatives from the Pilgrimage Promotion Boards, prominent Devotional Charities, Associations in Hindu Temples in the UK, ISKCON Temples, Anna Kshetra Managements, and Jain Dharamshalas.

3-Day Sessions For Understanding The Holistic Approach
The sessions will integrate tried-and-true as well as new-age approaches to streamline sustainable temple administration and development. this will bring in a holistic impact.
There will also be important discussions about green energy, ancient architecture, managing langars (community kitchens), lighting temples, etc. Experts from the Tirupathi Balaji Temple and representatives from charitable and social organizations that clean and maintain Varanasi’s ghats are among the lineup’s participants.
There will be a session on temple economics and its growing role in tourism. It may benefit the local economy and promote a location by giving pilgrims a memorable experience. This will be led by the convention’s founder, Giresh Kulkarni.
