VFS Global Urges UAE Residents To Be Wary Of Fraud; No Payments Needed For Visa Applications

Nowadays it is quite easy for anyone to scam you and get a hold of your money. Advanced technology has made it possible for people to easily set an online trap and scam you. And when it comes to important documents like Visa, one should be extremely careful and alert while applying for one. In the heed of multiple visa scams, VFS Global, the Visa Application Center has alerted UAE residents on how to avoid such visa frauds. Let’s have a look at it.

VFS Global Says Don’t Fall For Fraud!

VFS Global must be receiving a lot of grievances regarding visa fraud cases that are linked to their company. Hence they were compelled to take this case to their social media(q). VFS Global, a renowned visa company has alerted people that they don’t upfrontly ask for payments through phone or email. And if any agent claims to be a part of VFS and carry such mentioned activities is not a part of the company.

Many people fall for such scams as they want to take an easy and quicker way of application. But in this process, they forget to verify the authenticity of the agents they are applying through. So VFS has urged the residents to be cautious while applying for any visa through an agent.

Visa applicants are warned to be wary of illicit companies and imposters that bill clients for appointment scheduling or other services rendered independently or under the auspices of VFS Global. Except for the reasonable advertised costs that could be required in some countries, VFS Global does not charge anything for booking an appointment.

The services for receiving and processing visa applications are provided by VFS Global, an external partner of diplomatic missions.

It was told that the diplomatic missions in the UAE alone have the authority to decide whether to grant or deny a visa.  The outsourced partners are responsible for how long it will take to complete an application. The company will not give applicants any evaluative advice on visas and will not play any part in how a visa application is resolved.

The company suggests visa applicants make sure that VFS Global employees are helping them at the Visa Application Centre.
