Tourists Struggle To Climb 6,600 Steps To Reach Taishan Top In China

We often consider our legs to be one of the strongest parts of our body. But even they seem to give up while trying to reach the top of Mount Taishan in China! In a video that’s going viral on the Internet, people are seen struggling to reach the top of this mountain. This is because they have to climb around 6,600 steps to get there and then come down!

In the video posted by @roaneatan on X (formerly Twitter), you can see people exhausted and some even walking with quivering legs to finish the trek. Besides exhausted individuals, the video also shows people being carried down the stairs in a stretcher, shouldered by friends, and some even crying due to the whole struggle!

What’s to be noted is that the video claims that the tourists have to climb 7,200 steps to get to the top of this mountain. However, officially and according to the UNESCO website, an individual needs to cover 6,600 steps to get to the mountain top.
