She is not only known for her acting skills but also for her free-spirited personality, which woos everyone. She is rightly popular for being a powerhouse of entertainment, and on this Sunday Brunch episode, she brought that spirit to us. Vidya Balan Loves And Recommends These Eateries In Chembur

In this amazing episode, we got to know a great deal about Vidya Balan. From her love for theatre to her memories with Shilpa Shetty in school, we wanted to know it all. She shared how Shilpa was always the hottie in school and a terrific basketball player. She even taught Vidya how to dribble a ball.
Getting to the main issue of food, she had some great restaurant recommendations in Chembur. She shared that she simply loves the bhelpuri, sev puri, dahi batata puri, and ragada patties from Gupta Bhelpuri near Chembur station. The Vada Pav stall outside the Chembur post office is also one of her favourites. She is especially fond of the garlic chutney they serve. On 16th Road, a vendor sells samosa pav, and she loves indulging in it. Even though it is completely drenched in oil and needs to be squeezed before it is consumed, Vidya finds it completely worth it.

She Talked About Her Acting Career

Giving us an insight into her journey as an actor, Vidya Balan shared that she started her career with ad films. While still in college, she starred in many of them and made good money. Finally, in 2000, she bagged a role in the Malayalam industry’s famous Mohanlal’s next film. She even signed many other Malayalam movies. Unfortunately, due to this incident, she was replaced in all these movies. She got replaced in a total of 12 movies, and it was naturally a tough period for her. She eventually got her break in the Bengali film industry with the movie Bhalo Theko. The movie was a hit and won three national awards.
