The masterpiece was from Deliciae by Bunty Mahajan. It featured a clever and humorous tribute to Akhtar’s most celebrated screenplays. The bakery’s artistic team demonstrated their exceptional skill by incorporating images of iconic characters from films like Sholay, Deewaar, and Shaan.

These characters were showcased with a witty twist – each character’s face was replaced with Akhtar’s own visage. This playful customisation was complemented by an equally clever message that read “A man of character(s)”, perfectly encapsulating both Akhtar’s profession and the cake’s unique design concept.

The cake’s significance was further highlighted when Akhtar’s wife, celebrated actress Shabana Azmi, shared a photograph of the creation on Instagram. She drew attention to its intricate details and encouraged viewers to look closely at the ingenious face-swap feature.
