Vietnam’s budget airline Vietjet continues to scale up its international presence with new routes and aircraft in 2025. The airline has launched direct flights from Vietnam to Japan and China, alongside the addition of a new Airbus A321neo ACF to its growing fleet. Vietjet’s Asia-Pacific network is rapidly expanding. The airline has now launched non-stop flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka in Japan. Along with new services to Beijing and Guangzhou in China from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

This development follows Vietjet’s recent expansion into India, which saw new routes connecting Hyderabad and Bengaluru with Ho Chi Minh City. The airline currently operates 10 India-Vietnam routes with 78 flights per week, making it the most connected carrier between the two countries.

This marks Vietjet’s third new aircraft delivery this year. More aircraft from Airbus and Boeing are expected to join the fleet throughout 2025.
