Reminiscing about a childhood memory, he narrated a touching tale of how he and Radha had once devoured a whole box of Bansal Motichoor Ladoos that was intended for a family friend. That mischievous but affectionate moment was the inspiration for the showpiece dessert for guests at Bungalow.
As a tribute to her memory, every guest at the restaurant was treated to her favourite Motichoor Ladoos, making the event one of remembrance, love, and nostalgia.
Whereas Radha’s absence was sorely felt, Vikas Khanna decided to commemorate her life instead of grieving her loss. The restaurant’s anniversary gave an added touch to the day, as it became a day of thanksgiving and reminiscence.
He described how happiness, pain, grief, and joy could be channelled into love and thus Radha’s soul shall forever shine in his work and gestures.
