Vikas Khanna took to Instagram to share a special video where he surprised SpiceJet passengers by serving them his exclusively curated meals himself. As a tribute to Shabana Azmi, who plays a Chef in his next directorial project, Vikas Khanna took her 73rd birthday celebrations to the skies.

In the video, The chef-author-director takes the airport shuttle bus and steps on the SpiceJet flight. Dressed in a black shirt and blue jeans, he gives a glimpse of his specially-curated menu. The pilot introduces the Chef and the passengers are overjoyed to see the celebrity chef unexpectedly on their flight. They welcome him with a round of applause and wide smiles.
Served Specially-Curated SpiceJet Meals For A Cause
Vikas Khanna himself serves his specially curated meal boxes to passengers. On the menu, passengers relished Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Aloo Bukhara Biryani, Paneer Bhurji Roll and Chicken Khurchan Roll. The celebrity chef revealed that it was Shabana Azmi’s 73rd birthday and she is the main star of his next film, where she plays the role of a chef. And the proceeds from his exclusive in-flight meal support the Mijwan Welfare Society.
This is a foundation run by actor Shabana Azmi, founded by her father, Kaifi Azmi. Mijwan Welfare Society supports women’s empowerment and girl-child education. So, what could be a better way for Chef Vikas Khanna to celebrate her birthday than to do his bit to support her NGO?
