Skydiving is supremely fun and people who learn to do it and can do it like no one else. However, something devastating happened in the world of skydiving this week. The world of skydiving mourned for the loss of French skydiver Vince Reffet. Vince, who was known for his record-breaking Base jump off the Burj Khalifa and other daring feats, was killed in a training accident.

The Investigation Behind In Sudden Demise Is Still Under Process
The 36-year-old- who was a part of the ‘Jetman’ team was killed at the Jetman base in Dubai. The accident is currently under investigation. When the news about his untimely demise was out, his followers across the world, took to social media to express their shock and offer condolences. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, too offered his condolences for the late Jetpack.
Sheikh Hamdan took to Instagram to post a throwback photo with Vince and the caption read: “We will miss you.”
The Athlete Was Fondly Known For His Passion To Dream Big
For Vince, his family was into skydiving, and he too was good at this work. He joined UAE’s Freefly team in 2002 and has been making the country proud since then. Trained by Yves ‘Jetman’ Rossy, the duo famously took to the skies for an extraordinary formation flight with Emirates A380 in 2015. The athlete was fondly known for his passion to dream big. “If you love what you do, everything is possible,” he once said.

Well, not only Sheikh Hamdan but luxury travel content creator Mustafa Sheikh said: “Rest In Peace. One of the most energetic and passionate athlete to work with (sic). Condolences and prayers for his family.”
Several fans, influencers and skydivers across the world are still mourning the loss of Vince. We offer our condolences to his family.
