Visakhapatnam Gets An International Cruise Terminal, But It’ll Only Be That For 5 Months In A Year

Visakhapatnam, or Vizag, is a port city in Andhra Pradesh and is known for its picturesque scenery and serene beaches. And now, the city has welcomed its new International Cruise Terminal, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Here are the details of Vizag’s new cruise terminal.

Visakhapatnam Gets A New International Cruise Terminal!

Visakhapatnam, a coastal town, gets a cutting-edge international cruise terminal. With this, it is reasonable to assume that Visakhapatnam is headed towards being the centre of activity for freight and recreational cruise services in India. The eastern coast of India will offer a variety of domestic and international cruise alternatives with the opening of this International Cruise Terminal in Visakhapatnam.

The opulent terminal building is furnished with amenities like lounges, customs, immigration, quarantine counters, luggage handling equipment, scanners, a concourse, a restaurant, entertainment, shopping, health, business exhibitions, money exchange shops, parking spaces and more. Additionally, there is good road connectivity, which may be helpful to passengers.

Not all of the year will be spent as a cruise terminal at the International Cruise Terminal. It will function as a cruise terminal running voyages from all over the world from November to March. The terminal will be used for Coastal Cargo operations from April to October.

Andhra Pradesh’s Port City Is Excellent Choice For The Terminal

Indian domestic cruises, or river cruises, are currently quickly gaining popularity. Except for port towns like Mumbai, Kochi, and Kolkata, there aren’t many international cruises from Indian coasts. With the addition of Visakhapatnam, multiple options have become available. This is excellent news for anyone considering cruise choices.

There are currently cruises going from Kochi to the Maldives. You travel past breathtaking coral atolls and the Indian Ocean’s crystal-clear waters as you approach the opulent Maldives. Cruise enthusiasts also enjoy travelling from Mumbai to Dubai. From Mumbai, the cruise will take you over the Arabian Sea to Dubai, which is situated on the southeast Persian Gulf coast. The Ganges River Cruise travels through Bangladesh and India’s network of rivers, rather than the open ocean.
