With this, it is reasonable to assume that Visakhapatnam is headed towards being the centre of activity for freight and recreational cruise services in India. The eastern coast of India will offer a variety of domestic and international cruise alternatives with the opening of this International Cruise Terminal in Visakhapatnam.

Not all of the year will be spent as a cruise terminal at the International Cruise Terminal. It will function as a cruise terminal running voyages from all over the world from November to March. The terminal will be used for Coastal Cargo operations from April to October.
