Watch: Viral Video Shows Flooding Around Rajinikanth’s House In Chennai’s Poes Garden

By now, almost everyone has either heard of or seen the horrendous videos of the floods and rains that are plaguing the city of Chennai. The flooding was so bad that even the Chennai Airport had to cease operations for some time. Recently, a video went viral on social media which showed that not even the well-off areas of Chennai were spared from the disaster. The video showed the flooding around superstar Rajinikanth’s house.

Chennai has been plagued with bad weather lately. Recently, somebody posted a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) which showed how bad the flooding around Chennai’s Poes Garden is. Poes Garden is one of the poshest areas of Chennai and also where the super-megastar Rajinikanth lives. The video showed the area flooded with shin-deep water.

The person who took the video, evidently a Rajinikanth fan, first showed Rajinikanth’s house from the outside and then gave the view of the street which looked more like a river and less like a street. According to multiple reports, the flooding in Chennai has caused severe damage in the city Many people have even lost their lives because of the heavy rains.

Two people died by electrocution and one person was killed when a tree fell on them. Videos of the flood abound on the Internet. One video showed cars being washed down the street because of the severe flood. Government officials are working to provide relief to those who were severely affected by the Cyclone Michaung.

About His Upcoming Projects

Many actors have donated money to those people who have been impacted by the cyclone and are in need of financial assistance. Tamil Nadu officials are working round the clock to ensure that help is given to those people who are in desperate need of it.

According to an article which was recently published by India Today, at the time the video was taken, Rajinikanth was not at his house. He was out shooting for his upcoming film ‘Thalaivar 170’ in Tirunelveli. What is more, the film is being directed by T J Gnanavel of ‘Jai Bhim.’ His recent movie ‘Jailer’ was also a massive hit and grossed more than ₹650 crores worldwide.

He will also make a special appearance in a movie which will be directed by his daughter, Aishwarya. The movie is ‘Lal Salaam’. He has also signed a movie with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Sun Pictures.
