Ever since India lost the WTC final to Australia by 209 runs, the former Indian captain has been posting motivational words on a regular basis to his social media pages. India had lost two finals in a row during the previous four years.
He tweeted a picture of himself from the London Underground on Friday night, when he was seen reading a newspaper. Virat Kohli sported a black t-shirt and his signature pair of glasses and the caption read, ‘When in the tube.’
According to a News18 report, he recently attended the WTC final in London when Team India suffered a devastating defeat. After losing the WTC final, India’s journey for an ICC continues. Rohit Sharma will head India when they compete in the 50-over World Cup later this year.
