Randeep And Lin’s Fun Food Debate
In a light-hearted conversation, Kamiya Jani engages with Randeep and his wife Lin, delving into a fun food debate between Haryanvi and Manipuri cuisine. When given the choice between Haryanvi Ghevar and Manipuri Chakhau Kheer, Lin and Randeep quickly pick Chakhau Kheer, citing Ghevar’s intensity as it is rich in ghee and sweetness.
Moving to other dishes, Randeep picks butter chicken while Lin goes for Eromba (a traditional dish from Manipur made from boiled vegetables like yam, potato, and pumpkin, which are then mashed and mixed with fermented or dried fish for a distinct taste) highlighting their individual tastes.
When it comes to beverages, both Randeep and Lin favour Desi Lassi over Manipuri black tea. The food discussion continues with Randeep leaning towards Sarson Da Saag, as he’s more inclined towards vegetarian dishes, while Lin chooses Gari Fish Curry with rice, reflecting her preference for a hearty, fish-based meal.
