On the latest episode of Sunday Brunch with our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani, we switched things up with a fun memory game. We showed Jackky & Rakul a few throwback photos, and their candid reactions gave us a peek into some beautiful (and hilarious) moments from their journey together. Whether it was weight loss milestones, near-misadventures in Ladakh, or cherished family time, Jackky & Rakul had stories that left us smiling.
Jackky’s First Crush, 150 Kgs & A Throwback To Tera Jaadu Chal Gaya
The first image brought back memories from Jackky’s teenage years. “That’s me, at my peak, I was 150 kgs,” he revealed. The photo was taken when he was just 16, during the shoot of Tera Jaadu Chal Gaya. “That’s Keerthi Reddy, my first crush! She didn’t know then, but once she found out, she would tease me,” he recalled with a smile.
Rakul chimed in to share that Jackky began his weight-loss journey at 19 and has stayed committed ever since.

When Jackky & Rakul Got Lost While Trekking In Ladakh
The second image sparked laughter as Rakul narrated a rather adventurous tale from Ladakh. Jackky was shooting for Ganapath, and Rakul joined him for the last few days of the schedule. They went on a steep trek in a location called Moonland, named for its moon-like landscape.
“It was Jackky’s first trek with me,” said Rakul. “The guide said it would take 3 hours, but we got lost while coming down!” They wandered for over 4 hours with no roads, no network, just hills and confusion. Luckily, they found their way back and called their driver just in time.

Celebrations, Proposals & Family Time
The final two photos brought sweet memories. One was from their first anniversary celebration with family, simple, joyful, and full of love. The last one? A throwback to their bachelor trip with friends, where Jackky popped the question. “That’s where I proposed to her,” Jackky smiled, making the moment even more special.
From teenage memories to mountain misadventures and milestone celebrations, Jackky & Rakul let us into the most treasured parts of their lives. Their bond shines through every story, real, relatable, and full of heart.
