Delhi police recently seized cocaine worth more than ₹2,400 crore. If reports are to go by, these drugs were hidden in namkeen packets. They were found in the west Delhi region of the national capital. The drug consignment seized was a total of 200 kg. The police are now on the hunt for distributors. West Delhi Police Seizes Cocaine ₹2,400 Crore In Namkeen Packs
Delhi Police Special Cell has recovered a consignment of cocaine from a closed shop in Ramesh Nagar. About 200 kg of drugs have been recovered, whose value in the international market is more than Rs 2,000 crore.

According to an article which was recently published by The Times Of India or TOI, a special team is investigating this particular network. As per reports, this particular bust is a part of the Colombian cocaine recovery now amounting to a whopping ₹9,000 crore.
The TOI article also reported that this was the biggest drug recovery by any unit in the entire country. What is more, prior to this, the police had managed to seize around 526 kg of cocaine which was worth well over ₹6,500 crore.
As of now, the police are on the lookout for the distributors who were planning on picking up the consignment to further distribute it.
The Drugs Were For The Upcoming Concerts In Major Cities
If reports are to go by, these drugs were to be supplied to the upcoming concerts in big cities like Mumbai and Delhi as well as Goa. This particular racket came to life when the police received a tip about the Central Intelligence Agency in August.
This consignment had been smuggled into the country from Dubai. As many as four members of the cartel have been arrested and are now in Police custody. This latest drug bust demonstrates the commitment that the Delhi police has towards the safety of the public.
