Inaugurated under the directive of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, who is the Mother of the Nation, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, this is truly a noble initiative.
The Family Development Foundation has inaugurated this club, which will offer social services to senior citizens and residents of the Al Shiwayb Centre. This is especially for those individuals who are reaching retirement age. The Barkat Al Dar Social Club aims to create a safe place that is inclusive and encourages active engagement amongst senior citizens.
