What Is Humsafar Policy?
Nitin Gadkari’s new scheme has a key role to play in improving the present services in this sector. It prioritises the process of making eco-friendly facilities, increasing development, benefiting people, and a lot more. On October 8, Nitin Gadkari launched the policy in Delhi. Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta was present at the event too. Also, Director General & Special Secretary in the Ministry D. Sarangi, NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav, and senior officers of the ministry, NHAI, and NHLML attended the event, according to the Press Information Bureau’s press release.
Nitin Gadkari spoke at the launch event and highlighted a few advantages of the Humsafar Policy. This environment-friendly step has been curated with a deep focus on cleanliness. It will boost eco-friendly highway amenities. Some key points that were kept in consideration while working on the policy were soil conservation, solar energy, water conservation, and waste recycling.
He added the initiative’s positive impacts on society’s marginal sections. In addition, the Humsafar policy will be effective in emphasising smooth and safe travel experiences. These are some of the policy’s goals.
