He hailed it as a fitting tribute to the Mysuru royal family for executing many vital railway projects during the colonial period. These railway projects in his words were instrumental in the economic development of Princely States in British India. So, T.No.12614113 super-fast daily express from Bengaluru City to Mysuru is now officially Wodeyar Express. It runs faster than other express trains with two stops — Mandya and Kengeri.
