A woman from Andhra Pradesh spent some days at a luxury hotel in Aerocity. Spending more than 2 weeks at the Pullman Hotel, she received a bill of about ₹6 lakh. She booked the hotel back on December 13 for 15 days, according to a report by India Today. During the process of investigation, the police officials discovered that she had only ₹41 in her bank account while she enjoyed expensive amenities and stayed at such a luxe hotel in the capital city. She was identified as Jhansi Rani Samuel.

The woman hardly had any money in her account. To continue staying at the luxurious 5-star hotel and enjoy the amenities, she said to the staff about transacting money on the ICICI Bank UPI app. Later, the hotel staff recognised that there was no such payment made by the woman and that she was simply lying about all this fraud.

On January 13, Delhi police arrested Jhansi Rani Samuel and informed the concerned departments in Andhra Pradesh too as well. They contacted the counterpart in Andhra Pradesh to try to find more information about the arrested woman.
