We see all kinds of food videos on social media that suggest ingredient alternatives and interesting swaps. But using soft drinks like Fanta instead of baking soda in a cake was not something we expected. We recently came across a video by digital creator @awesomekichenfoods where she makes a cake with Fanta!.

She starts the video by mixing ½ cup of curd in 200 ml of Fanta. She then transfers it into a blender and then adds in ingredients like semolina, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and oil. She makes a smooth batter with all the ingredients and then transfers it into a greased cake mould and even decorates it with some tutti-frutti. After baking it for about half an hour, she demoulds and shows the perfectly baked and soft cake.
