It can be said that chai runs in the veins of Indians metaphorically. Our love for some kadak chai is endless. Most Indian households cannot function without sipping hot tea during breakfast and evening snacks. If we talk about Indians’ staple food item, this humble beloved beverage surely takes the lead. In this world of social media trends and experiments with food, we just came across a woman preparing egg tea. It sounds totally ‘not right’ and I am kind of speechless.
Egg Tea is The Latest Food Trend & We Wonder Who Even Likes It
Taking to Facebook, a digital creator named Sultana’s Cook has shared a video of making our favourite beverage with an egg. The exact relationship between chai and anda is very shocking to everyone.
In the viral video, the woman shares all the steps to make this weird chai recipe. She starts by adding some tea leaves to a kadai and mixes it with some sugar. In the dry mix, she adds some slices of apple and cooks until tea leaves and sugar start getting thick and sticky. Next, she adds milk and stirs for some time before adding milk powder. The woman mentions that adding milk powder is optional and people can replace it with condensed milk. The next step is about the bizarre addition of a raw egg. She adds it to the boiling tea and keeps it stirring continuously. Then she adds cardamom and cinnamon sticks to get rid of the raw egg smell. Lately, she strains it and serves the egg chai.
