Etihad Arena took to its Twitter account to announce that the World Tennis League will be happening here. Yes, this highly important sporting event is coming to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island this December. As it happens, dates have also been revealed for this much-awaited event! But that’s not all. The World Tennis League has also signed an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Under this, the next three seasons of the tournament will be hosted in Yas Island! So, although you will have to wait until September to find out who will be playing this year, you can already expect major names like Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek.

What About The Tickets?
If you are also wondering about the tickets, you must note that they will go on sale by the end of August. However, the registration form has already been released on the website of the arena! In case you’re not a major tennis fan, you will definitely want to attend this event for the stellar performances by award-winning artists like Tiesto, Neyo, Armin Van Burren, and Mohamed Ramadan.
This development comes after the dates for International Basketball Week were also recently announced. If you didn’t know, this is happening for the first time in the UAE! The US Basketball Showcase men’s national teams from the USA, Germany, and Greece in three games between August 18 and 20. Not to mention, the tickets have already gone up for sale!
