In a recent stroll into the digital world, I found a viral picture of a unique and quite unusual ice cream flavour. Looks like I am not the only here finding it weird as Netizens have the most hilarious responses.

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, pretentious academic (@cloudWhOrEe) shared a picture of a charcoal grey-coloured ice cream tub captioning, “every great morning starts with ice cream”.

Gone are those days when ice cream parlours only had basic flavours such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and a few common ones. Nowadays, there is such a huge range of varieties, starting from seasonal fruit flavours to the infuse of spices such as cinnamon-basil. While all these new options of brands never really surprised me to that extent, this grey flavour has surprised most of us.

@pretentiousacademic shared that it is Charcoal Lychee from Huber & Holly, also popularly known as H&H. This brand is famous among foodies with a sweet tooth for the massive spread of unique flavours such as Baklava, Blueberry Cheesecake, Orange Macadamia, Jamun Sorbet, Hazelnut Mudslide, Cotton Candy, Silk Choco Chip, and more.

Many dessert lovers have enjoyed the charcoal lychee flavour ice cream of this brand. Though the taste and infusion of charcoal and lychee look interesting, the colour of this flavoured ice cream does not look very appetising. In fact, many have compared its colour to the cement mixture prepared for building establishments.
