Economist Sanjeev Sanyal Feels Punekars Just Feed Poha To Visitors But Keep Local Dishes To Themselves

Sanjeev Sanyal (@sanjeevsanyal) took to the X platform to share his careful study and a few things that he learned about the authentic food served in Pune.

Sanjeev Sanyal had a shocking revelation after enjoying some delectable delicacies in Pune. He said that Punekars have been feeding Poha to all tourists and visitors while keeping the best local dishes a secret. On a humorous note, he shared how Punekars do not eat their entire share of poha. They eat little and then visit a restaurant named Sandeep. The economist also added that “Non Punekars are left completely in the dark”.

Well, Pune’s local cuisine is indeed a lot more than just poha. From famous Misal Pav to Pithla Bhakri to Mastanithere are so many scrumptious options to enjoy in this city. There are many amazing places serving the best savoury, sweet, and spicy food items every day.
