Named after Philip Milner Dacres, this khau galli in Kolkata is the address to find all kinds of dishes in the same place. From desi Chinese delicacies to healthy stew to fruit juices, the options are endless. You might be surprised to know that shopkeepers earn a good revenue selling peeled bananas to customers.

Chitto Babur Dokan Is A Must-Visit Eatery

One of Dacres Lane’s most popular shops is Chitto Babur Dokan. Visited by a huge crowd every day, this legendary shop was established in 1947. Shrish Ranjan Roy started the eatery around 77 years ago and now, it is a go-to eatery for thousands of foodies.

Many celebrities have been spotted here gorging on a feast. Chef Ranveer also heaped praises on Chitto Babur Dokan. He recommended visiting here and gorging on chicken stew and toasted bread.
