Phase 2 Of Partnership Between Saudi Arabia Railway & Uber Begins
If you are someone who has a penchant for travelling and exploring new sceneries by train ride, then you will want to know about Phase 2 of the partnership between Saudi Arabia Railways and US ride-hailing platform, Uber. This phase, which began on Sunday, June 18 will help in facilitating transportation for clients from SAR stations to their final destinations. As it happens, this will be an electronic interconnection journey that will allow their clients to book a travel ticket 90 days ahead of their travel. As a result, it will enable smoother and faster arrival for people.

This Service Will Be Available In Several Cities
In a report by Arab News, it was mentioned that this is a first-of-its-kind electronic connection between a passenger train service and a car ride application, according to the Senior Vice President of Passenger Transport at SAR, Khaled Al-Harbi. It was also mentioned that with this interconnection, several stations in different cities will be covered in the kingdom. These include Riyadh, Al-Majmaah, Abqaiq, Dammam, Hail, Jouf, Qassim, Hofuf, and Qurayyat. Moreover, people who would be going away on the weekend for exploring the kingdom or even travelling for day-to-day work purposes will find commuting easier than before. At this point, it should also be mentioned that the first phase of this partnership was launched in the December of 2021.
