The officer stated that the government undertakings approached the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to open booze stores at more stations. The official further added the reason for choosing metro stations to open liquor shops in the city. The high footfall in the Delhi metro stations is an important factor behind this. With more people and new shops, it is now easier to get access to liquor products. And this results in an increase in revenue.
