Crafting Elegance from Aircraft Materials
The limited-edition range encompasses a diverse selection of travel essentials. The list includes merch like suitcases, backpacks, handbags, cardholders, toiletry bags, belts, and shoes. These specifically crafted items are the handiwork of Emirates tailors. What makes this collection truly exceptional is that the materials have been repurposed from iconic aircraft such as the Emirates A380.
Surprising Materials Make an Appearance
In a remarkable twist, this collection features materials that have been creatively repurposed from the aircraft’s components. Aluminium headrests, leather from A380 onboard lounge couches, seatbelts, and even fabric from the Captain’s seat are all integrated into these unique pieces. The sustainable approach is evident as more than 14,000 kilograms of materials have already been reclaimed from 16 retrofitted aircraft. The potential for this project to recover up to 270 kilograms of leather and 627 kilograms of seat fabric per retrofitted aircraft is a testament to their commitment to recycling.

The limited-edition range will hit the shelves in 2024, exclusively available at Emirates Official Stores. This initiative stands out as all proceeds from selling these unique items will go towards assisting children in need through the Emirates Airline Foundation. Showcasing a selection of bags and accessories, the Dubai Airshow in DWC will feature these items from November 13 to 17, appealing to aviation enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals.

Featuring animals such as the green sea turtle, African elephant, blue macaw, gorilla, hammerhead shark, lion, pangolin, and black rhino, these creatures are among the most trafficked globally.
