Every time you open any social media app, you will find many users sharing videos shot in public places — in fact, crowded places. Delhi metro is one such place. Lakhs of people are dependent on the metro network for commuting every day and you will see many creators filming several dance videos and content for Instagram reels in these jam-packed places. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has taken a step to put an end to all these filmings inside the coaches.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Prohibited Filming Videos While Travelling

Taking to the official Twitter handle @OfficialDMRC on 13 March 2023, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation shared the news of prohibiting shooting any sort of dance videos and reels inside the coaches. Take a look at the news tweeted by DMRC on Monday.

Recently, there has been an increase in many reels and videos shot in crowded metros. As viewers, we enjoy watching these and this leads to the creators getting good views, comments, and engagement, But it can be problematic for the commuters. It can make the travel journey inconvenient for the passengers. After warning several times in the past years, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation finally announced the complete prohibition of filming any kind of dance videos or Instagram reels inside the metros.

Netizens Are Very Impressed With This Decision By DMRC

There have been several times when Delhi Metro Rail Corporation shared many fun content and memes to stop content creators from making videos inside the coaches and spread awareness on the same. Unfortunately, none of these attempts and posts on the Internet could convince the creators not to record in crowded areas. The inconvenience of passengers started increasing as well. Hence to put an end to all, DMRC completely prohibited filming.
