For those wondering, it’s the operator of Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central. Take note, UAE residents, as these things will ensure you have a smooth departure and return from the religious pilgrimage.

Hajj Travel To Begin Soon

As revealed by DXB, 3,100 pilgrims are all set to depart from the airport, which has been regarded as the world’s busiest hub. Yes, 28 flights operated by Emirates, Flynas, flydubai, and Saudia, there are important things that people must keep in mind while travelling for Hajj for a seamless experience. After all, the official delegation from the Government of Dubai will begin the journey on the first official flight from June 1, which is going to be from Terminal 3.

For a seamless experience for the pilgrims, Dubai Airport has collaborated with OneDXB Community, Dubai Police, General Directorate of Identity and Foreigner Affairs Dubai, Dubai Customs, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, and dnata. So, they have implemented several measures, and the list of facilities that pilgrims must know is as follows.

  • There will be dedicated check-in counters that will be located across Terminals 1, 2, and 3.
  • Prayer rooms and changing facilities will be available at all terminals for Ihram preparation.
  • There will be a Hajj Committee support desk along with Multilingual Guest Experience Ambassadors.
  • For those carrying Zamzam water, a designated baggage carousel will be there to secure this.

Keep Important Documents Handy

However, travellers must also keep a bunch of important details in mind. Yes, they must arrive at the airport at least four hours before departure, and they should carry all the required travel documents. This includes their passports, Emirates ID, vaccination certificate, and even the Hajj permit. With the pilgrims expected to return between June 9 and 12, there are already preparations taking place to ensure they receive a warm welcome. With a ton of appreciation and coordinated support, they are truly in for a wonderful experience.

These measures are being taken care of so that pilgrims have a single experience, as it coincides with the peak travel season and Eid al-Adha holidays. So, if you are travelling for Hajj, you might want to keep these important details in mind to ensure you have a wonderful experience.
