Located in the winter wonderland of Rovaniemi, Santa’s Main Post Office was established in 1950. Rovaniemi is the capital of Finland’s Lapland and is dubbed the official village of Santa Claus. The post office was made primarily as a tourist attraction.

The main building is made from pine and stone, giving it a quaint rustic feel that is uniquely reminiscent of Christmas and Santa. As you step inside this wondrous little world, what should you see but Santa’s little elves?

All diligently working to ensure that the bearded man’s correspondences are in order! And that is quite a task given that the post office receives millions of letters every year! Yes, you read that right! People actually send letters to Santa and they’re delivered here!
