ZLB23 Named The Best Bar In India At Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024
ZLB23 in Bengaluru has entered the coveted Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 list this year! Nestled at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, this Kyoto-inspired speakeasy bar has been recognised as ‘The Best Bar in India’ and ranked at the 40th position at this year’s awards. Since it is the only Indian bar in the top 50 list, it earned this distinction.
Launched in February 2023, ZLB23 is the country’s only speakeasy in the five-star luxury hotel category. With its surreal decor and theatrical concoctions, it makes complete sense why this place has been placed on this list. Keeping up with the speakeasy style, the bar has a hidden entrance and a vintage vibe that will take you back to the 1920s.
Coming to the drinks, the menu here features unique drinks which might sound classic but are futuristic in taste and looks. One of the must try drinks here is the Kyoto Autumn. It pays homage to the Land of the Rising Sun – Japan – and is an absolute delight to the palate!

Other Indian Bars That Featured In The Top 100 List This Year

ZLB23 was the only Indian bar on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 list. However, several Indian bars made it to the top 100 list of Asia’s Best Bars 2024. Mumbai’s The Bombay Canteen made it to the 59th position of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024: 51-100 list.
Not too far behind, Delhi’s popular Lair was placed at the 68th rank. The crowd favourite, Sidecar, was placed in the 84th position this year. Another Delhi bar, HOME, ranked 96th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024: 51-100 list. All in all, 5 Indian bars were featured on Asia’s 100 Best Bars 2024 list this year.
