Here Is What ESG Means And Why Is It So Important For Companies

ESG stands for Environment, Social and Governance. This is a set of considerations that companies are expected to report. It demonstrates their long-term commitment to effectively managing environmental, social and governance risk.

A strong ESG score shows that the company manages such risks well. These also include employee health and well-being and other such factors.

The CEO also went on to say that this milestone is only just the beginning and that the company will probably undertake similar initiatives centred around sustainable development.
